Red Riding Hood Redux

So tonite at work Jim and i were talking and he's been helping me write stuff creatively.  He said sometimes the best way to write is to redo a story that's already been done.  he brought up the story of Little Red Riding Hood as an example.  saying stuff like maybe she has an Uzi or she's a ninja.  i said i had seen a movie on sci-fi once where she was a werewolf hunter.  so without further ado here's my version of all of that. 

Riding thru the hood with Little Betty in her convertible 57 Chevy

hunting down werewolves

on the way to visit Granny

Living down by the levy

Ain't no other Chevy with razor slicing rims

Granny's saving milk and oatmeal raisin cookies

While that girl in schoolgirl red

Is stacking up pelts of ugly lupine fur

Howls fly thru the night

People run with fright

Granny's texting Betty

That girl riding in the hood

In candy apple red said

"Granny them varmints ain't right!"

High school girls in trouble

Vaulting from her ride in her crimson hoodie

Have no fear foaming soap bubble

Betty's part ninja but she packs a mean uzi

Bullets will fly

Sparkling blades slice nice

But nothin's gonna hurt Betty in the crimson hoodie

Riding her candy apple red car thru the hood.
